won't allow upload of file after its been removed once

I am seeing this problem in my example (and also on the examples page -- try ex 5: http://www.fyneworks.com/jquery/multiple-file-upload/#tab-Examples) --

1.  add two files
2.  remove one of them
3.  try to add that file back again

it will tell you that that file has already been selected.  has anyone seen this and fixed it?
